ABOUT

Upon graduating from FIDM with an Associate of Arts degree in 2005, Sarah got right to work, interning and eventually assisting on feature film and commercial projects. These early experiences in the industry enabled her to utilize her background in garment construction, natural inclination towards organization and detail and innate artistic abilities which she still practices today.

Sarah's experience ranges across the field of costume - from film, theatre, television and commercials, including three years as a Specialty Costume Fabricator for Global Effects, Inc in Sun Valley, CA. There she was able to hone her leadership abilities managing their soft-goods department, overseeing the construction of a wide range of costumes from period to super hero to science fiction.

Most recently she assisted Specialty Costumes Designer Laura Jean Shannon - The BOYS (series-Amazon), Red One (feature-Amazon), Doom Patrol (series-Max) and Titans (series-Max). She excels at continuity, design, construction, painting distressing and research.

Sarah is a member of The Costume Designers Guild (IATSE local 892) and Motion Picture Costumers - Specialty Costume Fabricator (IATSE local 705) . She is based out of Los Angeles, CA
